Suzie's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup stick margarine (or butter)
  • 1 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • chocolate chips (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Cream the margarine and sugars.
  2. Add the eggs and mix.
  3. Add the water and vanilla, mix.
  4. Mix together the flour and baking soda and add to the mixture Fold in the oatmeal and chocolate chips.
  5. Spoon on a cookie sheet and bake at 350° until they just start to turn brown, if you like them chewy.
