Rosemary Sage Hair Dye

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup dried sage
  • 2 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a nonreactive saucepan.
  2. Simmer for 30 minutes, then steep for several hours.
  3. Strain, and then use the resulting liquid for the colorant.
  4. Apply to hair and leave on until dried.
  5. Rinse and dry.
  6. Repeat weekly until you obtain the desired shade, then monthly to maintain color.
