Ingredients:

  • 2 cups carrots
  • 2 cups celery
  • 2 cups onions
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 3/4 cups rice
  • 3/4 cups lentils
  • 3/4 cups macaroni ( alphabets)
  • 2 cups kidney beans
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1 tbsp salt

Directions:

  1. Chop it all, throw it in a pot and bring to boil. After bringing to boil, turn down heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  2. I used canned kidney beans in this recipe, otherwise prep raw kidney beans to soft before adding to soup..
