Rich Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla.
  3. Sift flour, soda and salt
  4. Add buttermilk and blend well. Add nuts
  5. Bake in two 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pans, at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
