Ingredients:

  • 2 kg ribs
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp chutney
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 cloves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 ml salt
  • 250 ml fresh cream
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. -place ribs in water and boil 1 hour(makes quicker tender).
  2. -when ribs cooled shred removing all access fat and skin just use meat.
  3. -heat oil in pan,add spring onions and green pepper and brown,add water if neccessary.
  4. -add sweet chilli,chutney,sugar,bay leaves,cloves,salt,and pepper.
  5. -cook for 3 minutes.
  6. -add ribs and cook for 30 minutes.
  7. -add rest of water.
  8. -preheat oven to 180 degrees c.
  9. -add rib mixture to oven dish.
  10. -peel patatoes and slice thin.
  11. -place patatoes over rib mixture add tiny pieces of butter sprinkle salt and black pepper.
  12. -place in oven for 1-30 to 2 hours.
  13. -now enjoy and be happy ;0).
