Ingredients:

  • 21/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup fine chopped nuts (optional)
  • 2 sticks butter-softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar(12 oz) raspberry jam
  • 12/3 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Grease 9x13 pan. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a bowl,stir flour,sugar,nuts,butter and egg till crumbly.Set aside about 2c crumb mixture. Press remaining into greased pan. Spread jam over top-sprinkle with chocolate chips. crumble reserved crum mixture over the top.
  3. Bake 40-45 mins till lightly browned. Cool completely,cut into bars.
  4. If you can find thm,Hershey's made a raspberry chocolate chip.
