Rangatdar Bhaat - Indian Veggie Rice

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • pinch tumeric
  • 1 1/4 cup basmati rice washing and drained
  • 2 1/2 cup water boiling

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in large frying pan and fry cumin until it darkens. Add bay leaf
  2. Add tumeric and veggies
  3. Add the rice and salt to taste. Stir. Pour water. Bring to boil, then reuce the heat and cook, partly covered, until the rice is fluffy and tender (15-20 mins)
