Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla essence.
  4. Fold in the flour, mix well.
  5. Add in chopped dates and walnuts.
  6. Baked in a greased 9x13 pan for 20 - 25 minutes
  7. Cut into bars or squares when cooled.
