Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp clove
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening. Add sugar, egg and Fancy Molasses. Add dry ingredients. Mix well.
  2. Make into small balls, roll in white sugar, and press down with a fork.
  3. Bake at 375F 8-10 minutes.
