Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Soak crumbs in milk. Beat egg yolks; add 1/4 cup of the sugar and salt and add to the milk mixture. Pour into greased baking dish, set in pan of hot water and bake in 350º oven for 1 hour or until firm. Spread a thick layer of jelly over top.
  2. Beat egg white with remaining 1/4 cup sugar until stiff. Spread meringue over top of pudding. Bake 10 minutes longer or until browned.
  3. Serve hot or cold.
