Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp clove
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 cup currants

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Spray 2 9x5x3 loaf pans.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together.
  4. Mix sugar, oil, water, eggs and pumpkin together.
  5. Stir in dry ingredients.
  6. Mix in pecans and currants.
  7. Divide batter between pans and bake until tests done.
