Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar together thoroughly. Stir in pumpkin, vanilla and salt.
  2. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon; gradually add to the pumpkin mixture. Fold in nuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
