  2. Sift (or whisk in a small bowl) flour, salt, baking soda,.
  3. Spices.
  4. Beat butter and sugars in large mixer.
  5. Add pumpkin and vanilla- mix until fully incorporated.
  6. Add egg- beat well
  7. Gradually add flour mixture.
  8. Stir in chocolate chips.
  9. Drop rounded spoonfuls onto baking sheets.
  10. Bake 13-15 minutes; let cool 2 minutes on sheet.
  11. Move to wire rack to cool completely.
