Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 4 cups quick oats
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional) or 1 cup m& m
  • 3/4 cup raisins (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cream together; brown sugar, applesauce, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  2. Blend in flour and baking soda. Blend in oats.
  3. Add your choice of optional ingredients; nuts, chocolate, raisins, or all of the above. Mix well.
  4. Drop by Tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or til lightly browned.
  5. Let cool 2 or 3 minutes before removing from pan.
