Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Cream together butter, Crisco and sugar.
  2. Add eggs individually.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add vanilla extract.
  5. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 80 minutes or until it tests done.
