Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Fry the ground beef until it is no longer pink. Add the onions, ginger and garlic and fry until the onions are translucent. Now add the next 7 ingredients and stir until mixed well. Fry for 2 minutes until the water from the beef has almost dried up. Add the mint and cilantro leaves and the salt to taste mixing well. Keep aside.
  2. Divide the mashed potato into round balls of equal portions. Put some oil on the palm of your hand, take a ball of potato and make a well in the centre of it. Place some of the ground beef filling into it and fold over the potato to enclose it. Smooth the potato over making an oval shape. Dip into egg, then breadcrumbs and lightly fry in shallow oil until gloden brown. Serve hot..
  3. If you do not eat beef, you can substitute boiled eggs, cut in half, instead.
