Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Place flour in a paper bag.
  4. Add pork chops and shake well until pork chops are well coated.
  5. Heat oil in a large heavy skillet.
  6. Add pork chops and brown evenly on both sides.
  7. Place pork chops in a shallow baking dish.
  8. Add rice to drippings in skillet.
  9. Cook for 10 minutes, or until browned.
  10. Spoon browned rice over pork chops.
  11. Cover with onions and carrot slices.
  12. Pour gravy over meat and rice.
  13. Cover and bake for 11/2 hours or until meat and rice are tender.
