Pineapple Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pork chop
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 6 slices pineapple slices in syrup, drained ,reserve 1/2 cup syrup

Directions:

  1. Brown pork chops over medium heat.
  2. Drain off fat and sprinkle salt.
  3. Arrange onion slices on top.
  4. Mix pineapple juice, sugar, allspice, limejuice and enough water to equal one cup.
  5. Pour into pan and heat to boiling.
  6. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Place pineapple slices on top of pork chops and cook for another 10 minutes.
