Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs small okra
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp. mustard or celery seed
  • 6 tbsp. salt

Directions:

  1. Wash okra but do not puncture. Pack in jars. Boil together water, vinegar, salt and seeds. Pour over okra in jars. Add garlic and pepper to each pint jar. Seal. Wait 1 month before eating . This is the sour version can add sugar and or dill If desired . Makes 5 pints.
