Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and cream cheese
  2. Mix well and add, sifted flour, blend well
  3. Let dough rest in frig , at least 1 hour
  4. Pinch off dough and roll into 11/2 inch balls
  5. Put each ball in a MINATURE muffin tin, and press against bottom and sides to make crust, sprinkle a few chopped pecans in the bottom
  6. Beat egg and add brown sugar, mix well.
  7. Add melted butter, dash of salt and vanilla.
  8. Fold in ground nuts. mix well
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes
  10. Reduce heat to 250 for 10 minutes
  11. Makes 2 dozen tarts
  12. After tarts are cold, sprinkle with 10x sugar
