  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, butter and pecans to make crumb mixture. Place 1/3 crumb mixture on pie crust. Arrange pear halves on top. Add spices and lemon rind. Add rest of crumb mixture on top. Bake for 30-40 minutes until crust is light brown.
