Pear Custard Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3 pears, peel , halve and core then cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Pre heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Grease 9 inch pie plate.
  3. Arrange pear slices in pie plate, overlapping slightly.
  4. Process in a blender all other ingredients till smooth.
  5. Pour over pears.
  6. Bake till golden and firm to touch - about 45 minutes.
