Ingredients:

  • 1 lb raisins
  • 1 lb figs
  • 1 lb dates
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • note: red and green maraschino cherries may be added for color. may substitute other fruits, such as dried cranberries and apricots for fruit listed in ingredients

Directions:

  1. Cook prunes according to directions
  2. In processor, chop (a little more than just coarse, but not finely ground) fruit and nuts
  3. In large bowl, mix chopped fruit, nuts, lemon juice, honey
  4. Add graham cracker crumbs
  5. Form into roll
  6. Wrap in foil
  7. Store in refrigerator
  8. Slice as needed
