  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine butter, oj, orange peel, dates, sugar, egg, and pecans.
  3. Mix and sift remaining ingredients.
  4. Stir together and mix well.
  5. Turn into greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes, or until done.
