Old Fashioned Banana Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 (12 oz) package vanilla wafers
  • 8 oz whipped topping

Directions:

  1. Mix together the sugar, egg yolks, flour and milk. Sitr over medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  2. Layer the bottom of a 2-quart dish with half of the vanilla wafers.
  3. Top with half of the sliced bananas.
  4. Pour half of the pudding over top.
  5. Repeat layers: vanilla wafers, bananas, then pudding.
  6. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve topped with whipped topping.
