Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 cups oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 orange , zest of

Directions:

  1. Beat the butter, brown sugar and egg until creamy, add syrup and zests.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients with raisins, add mixture to egg mixture.
  3. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet two inches apart.
  4. Cook at 375 for 6 to 8 minutes.
