Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Stir the flour and baking powder together into a bowl; stir in the oatmeal
  2. Rub in butter and beat in the eggs.
  3. Make a well in the center and pour in the cream
  4. Stir to create a soft, elastic dough
  5. On a floured surface,roll the dough out to a 3/4-inch thickness
  6. Divide the dough in half.
  7. Divide each half into four and form into rough bisquit shapes
  8. Place the scones in a moderatley hot, lightly oiled heavy frying pan
  9. Cook for 10 -12 minuts, turning once as they brown.
  10. Serve warm with butter and jam
