Nutty- Buddy Yam Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • topping
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup pecans
  • 1/2 stick margarine

Directions:

  1. Peel and boil potatoes until tender; drain
  2. Add sugar, egg, spices, margarine and milk; beat until smooth.
  3. Pour into buttered baking dish.
  4. Topping:
  5. Combine first 4 ingredients; spread over top of potato mixture.
  6. Dot with margarine.
  7. Bake in 350 degree oven until golden brown, about 35 minutes.
