Nut And Honey Granola

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 medium orange, juiced
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a small saucepan heat oil, syrup, honey and orange juice, bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile in a large mixing bowl combine oats, pecans, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. Stir until well combined.
  5. Add the syrup mixture continuing to stir until thoroughly coated.
  6. Spread granola onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes then stir and continue to bake an addition 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and add raisins.
  9. Let cool and serve.
