Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Leave bread out overnight to harden or toast in oven until slightly stale.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes.
  4. Spray a medium baking dish with spray and place bread cubes in it.
  5. In a saucepan, combine broth, celery and onion.
  6. Cook for 6 - 8 minutes or until slightly translucent.
  7. Remove from heat and add mushrooms and garlic.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, thyme and any other seasonings you like.
  9. Once broth mixture has cooled slightly, add egg substitute and butter.
  10. Pour evenly over bread and mix gently. Bread should be moist but not saturated.
  11. If too dry, add a few tablespoons of water.
  12. Cover with foil and cook for 20 minutes.
  13. Remove foil and stir gently.
  14. Return to over, WITHOUT FOIL, for 10 - 15 minutes, or until top is golden.
