Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine maple syrup, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place flank steak in a plastic bag with marinade.
  3. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Strain marinade into a sauce pan and cook on low heat.
  5. Meanwhile, heat the grill to medium-high.
  6. Place steak on grill and cook 5 minutes per side.
  7. Cut into thin slices against the grain.
  8. Serve with the heated marinade.
