Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp of ghee
  • a handfull of star anaise
  • 1 tsp of sapheron
  • 8 cups of rice
  • 9 cups of water

Directions:

  1. Heat the ghee in a pot
  2. Stir in the onions star anaise and sapheron.
  3. Fry till onions become golden brown
  4. Add in the rice and chicken stock
  5. Mix till all the rice has the same color
  6. Then add the water cover the rice and allow to cook on low fire till the rice is done
