My Moms Famous Holiday Nut Cups

Ingredients:

  • 2 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 8 cup. flour
  • 4 sticks butter (blue bonnett works best mom says *softened*)
  • filling
  • 4 cup. brown sugar
  • 1 doz. eggs(large eggs if possible if not mediums will work.)
  • 2 lbs. chopped walnuts ( peanuts and pecans will work just as well also. finely chop which ever nutz u prefer.)

Directions:

  1. Roll dough into 1 inch balls,place into ungreased muffin pan, press all the way up the sides.
  2. Place 1tsp-1 1/2tsp. full of the fiiling into each prepared muffin cup.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degree and bake for 15-20 minutes or until done.
  4. Pull out of oven let cool for about 5 minutes.
  5. Store in an air tight container of zip lock bags.
  6. *If u freeze them they will last in there for 6 months.
  7. * this recipe can easily be doubled if you prefer.*
