My Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of sweet relish
  • 2 tbsp. of mayonaise
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. white vinegar

Directions:

  1. Place the eggs in a medium kettle, fill about 3/4 full with water and bring to a boil, once they come to a full boil time it for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and run cold water on the eggs and let them set in cold water while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
  2. In a small bowl combine the remaining ingredients and stir well.
  3. Peel the eggs and slice in half and remove the yolk.
  4. Place the yolks in the mixture and use a fork to stir the mixture.
  5. Fill empty egg halves with the mixture and for a festive garnishment you can sprinkle a little nutmeg on top.
  6. Chill for at least an hour and enjoy.
