Mustard Bean Pickles

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp celery seed
  • 1 tbsp turmeric

Directions:

  1. Wash and string beans.
  2. Cut into small pieces.
  3. Boil in salt water until just tender.
  4. Put sugar, flour, mustard, spices, and vinegar in pot.
  5. Boil until thick.
  6. Drain beans and pour dressing over them.
  7. Seal in sterilized jars.
