Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups oats

Directions:

  1. .Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix the first 4 ingredients till fluffly.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients with the oats last.
  4. Drop spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Let cool for 5 minutes then place on baking rack.
