Ingredients:

  • 2 cups raisins
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Boil raisins in water for 5 minute and add baking soda.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add beaten eggs.
  4. Add dry ingredients alternately with raisin mixture.
  5. Drop by teaspoons on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 400 for 10-15 minute.
