Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp ginger

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Mix all ingredients together except 1/4 cup sugar. Form one-inch balls. Coat with remaining sugar.
  3. Place on ungreased baking sheet; bake 10 minutes.
