Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 1/2 cups all-bran cereal
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Mix hot water and bran cereal.
  2. Cream sugar, oil, and eggs.
  3. Add dry ingrediants, bran cereal, and buttermilk.
  4. Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
