Maple Walnut Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup (please do not use anything but the real thing)
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients
  3. Add softened butter and mix well
  4. Add egg, syrup, and milk, stirring until well blended
  5. Fold in walnuts
  6. Grease muffins tins and fill a little over half full
  7. Bake 20-25 minutes
