Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Stir together the dry ingredients.
  3. Add butter and blend well.
  4. Add egg, maple syrup and milk.
  5. Stir until well blended (do not over beat).
  6. Fill greased muffin tins about 1/2 full.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
