Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder

Directions:

  1. Mix apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon in a large bowl until apples are evenly covered in sugar mixture.
  2. Spoon apple mixture into a 8 x 8 inch baking dish.
  3. In the same bowl used to mix the apples, mix the brown sugar, flour, oatmeal, melted butter, baking soda and baking powder.
  4. Spoon the mixture (dollop) on top of apples.
  5. Bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
  6. Serve warm by itself or with ice cream, or eat it cold out of the refrigerator.
