Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Clean the fish well and wash in plenty of water.
  2. Cut the fish in approximately 1 1/2 inch sized pieces.
  3. Wash well with salt water and turmeric powder.
  4. Marinate it with turmeric powder and lemon juice for 15 minutes.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet.
  6. Add all the ingredients except the fish.
  7. Add 1/2 cup of water.
  8. Allow to come to a boil.
  9. Lower flame and add the fish pieces.
  10. Cover and cook till the fish is tender and ready to serve.
  11. Serve hot with hot steamed white rice.
