Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour , sifted
  • 2 sticks of butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 small jar (3 1/2 oz.) macadamia nuts, chopped

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Beat all ingredients on low except nuts in a mixing bowl until well blended
  3. Roll level tbls. of dough into balls
  4. Spread nuts out on waxed paper
  5. Press one side of ball into nuts
  6. Put flattened balls, nut side up onto baking sheet 2 inches apart
  7. Bake for 15 minutes
  8. Let cool on rack
  9. Makes about 24 cookies
