Ingredients:

  • 1 (750 liter) bottle everclear alcohol
  • 3 cups sugar

Directions:

  1. In a glass container, NOT PLASTIC OR METAL,pour contents of the bottle of alcohol. Be sure to save empty bottle.
  2. Peel lemons,zest only, no white part at all.
  3. Put lemon peels into the alcohol and let it sit for about 10 days.
  4. After 10 days put 1 bottle (that you saved)of water into a pan with 3 cups of sugar and boil. Stirrig real good. Let cool.
  5. With a strainer pour the alcohol mixture into the pan and stir.
  6. Pour into bottles.
  7. Buy some nice bottles and give as gifts or have fun drinking. Pretty Potent!
  8. I usually double the recipe 1.75ltr, approx 15 to 16 lemons and 6 cups of sugar.
  9. Remember to double the water!
