Lamb, Tomato, Lemon and Garlic Stew

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Simmer garlic bulb in boiling water for 20 minutes until soft.
  2. Meanwhile heat oil in saucepan (or electric fry pan) and saute lamb pieces until browned all over.
  3. Stir in tomatoes and tomato paste.
  4. Squeeze each garlic clove by hand into meat mixture, discarding skins.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add water to cover.
  7. Stir and simmer covered for 1 1/2 hours until tender.
  8. During last 15 minutes of cooking stir through lemon juice.
