Italian Broiled Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup butter,melted
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Directions:

  1. Shell and devein shrimp;leaving tails on. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels;dust with flour. Pour butter into a broiler proof baking dish. Add shrimp;broil for 6 mins
  2. To prepare drawn sauce,in a small saucepan,melt butter. Add flour and whisk over med-high heat till bubbly.
  3. Whisk in water;whisk till sauce thickens. Add salt,pepper,garlic and parsley.
  4. Pour sauce over shrimp;toss to coat shrimp with sauce. Broil 2 mins. Serve immediately with remaining sauce.
