Ingredients:

  • 2 lb graham flour (about seven cups)
  • 2 cups sour milk
  • 1 tsp salt .

Directions:

  1. To make sour milk:
  2. Measure 2 cups milk. Whole or 2 percent works best in baking. Add 2 tsp. plain vinegar or lemon juice. Stir ingredients. Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Milk should began to curdle slightly. You now have sour milk.
  3. To make the Bread:
  4. Mix together wet ingredients.
  5. Add dry ingredients.
  6. Combine until well blended.
  7. Pour into two bread pans.
  8. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
  9. Let cool in pan for five minutes, then remove from pan and let cool completely.
