Hot Fudge Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp. shortening
  • 2 cups brown sugar , packed
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • note there are no eggs in this recipe

Directions:

  1. Mix first 7 ingredients together in a big casserole dish or roaster. You want it deep enough to hold the sauce and the rising cake in.
  2. Spread it around so it covers the bottom.
  3. Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour over cake. Do not mix.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  5. This is fantastic served warm with vanilla ice cream or evaporated milk poured over it.
