Honey-Wheat Pizza Dough

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups white flour
  • 4 1/2 tsp yeast (2 packages)
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. Run warm water into a large bowl to heat the bowl.
  2. Pour warm water into that same bowl.
  3. Add yeast and honey and stir with a whisk.
  4. Set it aside and let it activate for ten minutes.
  5. Add oil and salt, stir again.
  6. Whisk in white flour first, and follow it with Wheat Flour.
  7. When dough begins to form a ball, roll it out onto a flat surface.
  8. Kneed for ten minutes or so.
  9. Form dough into a ball and lightly cover it with olive oil.
  10. Place it into a large bowl and cover it.
  11. Store in a warm place for an hour to let the dough rise.
  12. Punch down the dough and split it into fours, again forming balls and covering them with oil.
  13. Place balls no a lightly floured cookie sheet to let them rise again.
  14. Pre-Heat Oven to heat pizza stone, 475 degrees.
  15. Roll out the dough and top pizza as desired.
  16. Bake for ten minutes.
  17. Serve hot.
